Alpharma Pharmaceutical Co. has completed its agreement with Zhejiang Hisun Pharmaceutical Co. (Hisun), doubling its capacity to manufacture one of Hisun’s major APIs, vancomycin, subject to FDA and European regulatory approvals. Vancomycin is for severe gram-positive hospital infections.
